Relective
Every Sunday morning we hold a communion service at 9:30am. While we currently don’t have our own vicar, this is led each week by visiting priests, assisted by our Lay Minister. We aim for the service on the second Sunday of each month is more accessible to families, with more interaction and a family-focused sermon. All are welcome along!
This page shows an example of the types of service that we ran prior to the pandemic - we will update this page when our new vicar is in post and plans for future services are confirmed.
Our Quiet Communion Service at 9.30 a.m on the First Sunday of the Month is well received.
The atmosphere is calm and peaceful where we encourage one another to hear God speak to us. The service is about 40 minutes with an inspirational talk on topics such as “How can I pray? Practising God’s Presence and The Attitude of Gratitude”. We remember Jesus in Holy Communion and pray for the world, the church, ourselves and our loved ones.
The service is punctuated with pockets of silence. We sing enthusiastically and share Christ’s peace with much love.
